Fred Seunghyun Maeng
Welcome.
I am a Max Weber Postdoctoral Researcher at the European University Institute. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Cambridge in October 2024, under the supervision of Giancarlo Corsetti and Meredith Crowley.
My research interests are macroeconomics, international macro & finance, and monetary economics. My work studies fiscal-monetary interactions, with a particular focus on sovereign default.
